This comprehensive renovation transformed two bathrooms and a laundry of a stunning 1950s Glenbrook home in the Blue Mountains, taking three outdated spaces from their tired 1980s renovation into a sophisticated, cohesive suite that honours the property’s heritage character. The project involved completely reimagining the layout of the main bathroom and laundry, moving from a cramped three-way configuration to beautifully functional separate spaces that match the calibre of this magnificent period home. Key heritage features were lovingly preserved, including the hand-restored double sash window with original heritage glass, whilst modern functionality was seamlessly integrated throughout all three spaces. The design embraces consistent sophisticated finishes including brushed brass tapware from Yabby, beautiful tiles from Tile Cloud, and thoughtful lighting solutions, creating a harmonious flow that perfectly balances period charm with contemporary luxury in this Blue Mountains heritage home.
